Chantry
Breezes B&B
Chantry Breezes
B&B is
located among gardens and mature trees and half a block away
from the white sand beaches of Lake Huron. Park your car and you can walk
to shops, restaurants and galleries.
The town
Southampton was one of the earliest settlements and the
oldest port in Bruce County. This grand turn-of-the-century Queen Anne home was originally built by Captain George
E. Smith, one of Bruce County's foremost pioneer mariners, ship builders and
businessmen. From 1921 to 1999, noted furniture manufacturing families, the Bells and
Fittons owned the house. In December of 1999, it was purchased by the
Amy family.
The B&B is perfect
for a quiet getaway or as the home base for a Bruce County vacation.
Guests can walk to the beach, relax on the porch,
take a short walk around the coastal heritage town, walk to
gallery's and restaurants or just find a secluded spot to read or watch
nature on one of the many benches located throughout the property.
